In and Out, made in 1989, is a stylised journey through a life full of trepidation, disappointment and alienation using train journeys as a motif.  It’s a little more fun than it sounds.  Awards include the Berlin Film Festival, a Canadian Academy award nomination (Genie Award) and it was shortlisted for an Oscar.  It was produced with the assistance of the Canada Arts Council and The National Film Board of Canada.
